— Joshua 10:8
These words show up often as God leads the Israelites into battle on their journey to claim the Promised Land. Over and over, He reminds them not to fear... not to shrink back...because the victory is already theirs.
Can you imagine?
Preparing to face kings and giants... weapons drawn... heart pounding... and then hearing God whisper:
“Don’t be afraid. You already won.”
Would your fight look different if you knew the outcome?
Would fear still take up space in your thoughts?
Would you still be discouraged when it feels like God is quiet?
What if His silence wasn’t absence... but strategy?
What if every step you take is drawing you closer to the promise He already gave?

Journaling Prompt...
Keep these words in front of you today:
“Do not be afraid or discouraged.”
Now ask yourself...
What battle am I facing right now?
How would I show up differently if I truly believed the victory was already mine?

    Prayer
Dear God,
Help me to be brave as I move forward, knowing You’ve already given me victory. Strengthen me when I’m tired, and remind me that Your silence isn’t distance... it’s You working. Help me walk in faith even when I can't see the finish line. I want to show up boldly in Your name, trusting that You’ve already gone before me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen
