It all started with a full Bible… and no more margin space.

In 2024, I started reading my Bible more than ever. I have to say, I was influenced — all those beautiful photos of highlighted Bibles on Instagram made me want mine to look used, loved, and read.

So I started. I dove into Job, Esther, the Gospels — even though I already knew the stories from Christian school.

And as I read, I needed things. Pretty highlighters? Got them. A wide-margin Bible? Yep. I was set…

Until my margins filled up. I needed overflow space.

I searched Etsy. Amazon. Walmart. Nothing felt right. Too cutesy. Too rigid. Too templated.

So God quietly whispered, “You do it. Make your own.”

“My Bible margins were full… and my heart still had more to say.”

God said: “You make it.”

I immediately gave Him my yes, but I just couldn’t understand the logistics — so I stopped.

Almost exactly a year later, God dropped it in my spirit to actually do it this time. Within 5 minutes, I had a business name. Within 10 minutes, a rough logo sketch. Within a week, I finally found a journal supplier — something I couldn't figure out just a year earlier.

Because of all that, I knew it was His timing.

And I knew I wasn’t the only woman searching for a journal like this.

This journal wasn’t made to impress — it was made to meet a need.

Angel Paper Co. was created for the woman who wants to slow down… who’s tired of performative study methods and just wants to be with God.

We believe your quiet time shouldn’t feel rushed or rigid. It should feel like home.

Hi, I’m Angel — founder of Angel Paper Co., note-taker, and forever journal lover. But also, wife, mom, coffee-lover, Bible reader, and so much more. This brand started out of obedience, but also from a desire to give women like me the space to be with God...freely, quietly, and with intention.
